I have routed the first map of the game and defeated Golgothite's Skull in just 28 minutes! I've developed a decently reliable way to deal with the Guardian of the Antichrist, a way to cheese the Arch Angel, and a decent loadout. I now have Inside Golgothite to route and map, and I have a vague idea of how it'll pan out but only time will tell!
Stats After Defeating Golgothite's Skull
325 HP
00h28 (Note, this is in-game time, real time is unknown and most likely much longer)
25% Abilities (Double Jump, Murky Coat, Dash, Angel Wings)
18% Weapons (Skeleton Hand, Flamer, Demon Fork, Rocket Launcher, Jack Hammer, Double Barrel, and the two starter weapons)
39% Bosses (Honestly higher than I thought it would be)
Main weapon used was the flamer, it is great against everything, including the Skull
I'm very interested in the route, when I made it I didn't expect the flamer to be a top grade weapon.
Can't wait to see how it developps
I believe sub hour is acheivable, there is room for time save because I got 28 mins on a run were not everything was planned yet. The inside of golgothite may prove to be difficult but I have a small idea, getting the magic wand. Its like the culinary cannon in the sense that it is very good right out the gate but performs better since its tracking a various other effects. It may be out of the way but it might save massive time for the last boss.
It hasnt‘t fully came together but its getting there 👍
the wand route is a slight shortcut as well i'd imagine
Here are both the minimaps! I decided to take them so I can route the run better.
I haven't changed any of the maps/entrances to rooms, only borders around the rooms and the obvious white background for easier viewing and planning.

Doing this I realized that inside golgothite is very long and outside is tall.

There is a secret shortcut, right above the room where you get the jackhammer, it leads directly to the flaming construction site. This lets players access heaven early.
I never have seen this, this will really improve timing and the route! Thank you so much, I thought I had fully discovered the map, that worries me I have missed another huge shortcut 😭
I always wondered why the gate shut so abruptly unlike other gates but I never thought of that. Getting the flamer early on is a grace, it really holds through till endgame in my opinion.
I am currently making a Google Doc mapping out the run, so far it is going great!

The only roadblock I have hit so far has been the Guardians of the Afterlife, the Cerberus dude. The head that rushes at you is ROUGH when you have low hp. I'm gonna keep going at it though, it'll get done!

Took me some time but it was worth it, time for chaos mode!
Congratulations!! Chaos mode is very wacky and not very balanced just a heads up! you can also unlock antoher gamemode by finishing the game in under 2 hours if i remember the timer correctly
I actually thought about speedrunning this game! I don't think I'm at the skill for it yet but I will make sure to post a video of it when I do! Do you have a discord? I'm aware it might be majority French but I would love to interact with the community!

They can be pretty time-consuming to own, but I don't think it would be a bad idea. It would also be good for upcoming games or just your community to attract more players, not just targeted for a special game! No worries if you aren't interested though, it isn't necessary for such an epic game!
Is there something specific I have to do after defeating all the bosses to get the Destroyer Emblem? When I go back after defeating all of them, it is no longer there. I am wanting to 100% this game so it would mean a lot if you could help!
Side note, is 500 still the max HP? I can't seem to find the last one.
500 is the max amount of HP still, let me check for the destroyer emblem.
edit: just checked, put the wrong ID for the pedestal, I'm going to fix this right now.
This is now fixed in 2.3.1.
for the HP the more hidden life ups are in the main world not in the body, you might have missed one in the heavens or in the caverns. The game is a bit annoying to 100% because the minimap was a very last minute addition.

I have found a bug that is preventing me from progressing. When entering Golgothite's body, it turns to a black screen and doesn't send me anywhere.
I've checked, the lasted version is bugged i'm going to update it right now, thanks for the feedback.
version 2.3.0 should have resolved this issue.
